About Jennifer Brewer

Jennifer Brewer, MS, CNS is a Nutritionist and Natural Foods Chef residing in Santa Cruz, CA.  She is a graduate of the Chef’s Training Program at the Natural Gourmet Cookery School in New York City.  Jennifer holds a Masters Degree in Nutrition and is a Certified Nutrition Specialist through the American College of Nutrition.

Jennifer is a James Beard Scholarship Recipient and was an instructor of Nutrition and Culinary Education at the Culinary Education Center of Monmouth County in New Jersey.  She has taught healthy cooking classes for a variety of organizations including the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM) and the Community Alliance with Family Farmers (CAFF).

Currently, Jennifer teaches a wide variety of cooking workshops and lectures, including an 8-week Natural Foods Training Course for the Home Chef, offered at New Leaf Community Markets in Santa Cruz, CA.  In addition, Jennifer created the website, www.nourishingnutrition.com, which inspires individuals through a weekly recipe blog to organize their kitchen, develop time saving shopping lists and prepare delicious, unprocessed, plant-based meals that everyone will enjoy.
