In an effort to heal my own disordered relationship with food and my body, I studied nutrition but became drained trying to find a sense of balance and “health” through charts and numbers.  That is why I became a chef.  I didn’t want to just talk about the calories and find the “perfect” diet, I wanted to experience food in a way that FELT healthy and ALIVE, to me.  I wanted an experience of life, not to analyze food until there was no life left inside of it.  And that is what learning to cook and eat whole, colorful and simple food did for me.  Cooking healed my relationship with food and brought the SPIRIT back into my kitchen. 

And that is what I hope this website will start to inspire in you.

Because learning to cook healthy, delicious, whole foods was the catalyst for me to deepen my relationship with my own spirit, after I graduated, I felt compelled to teach others what I had learned.

Through delicious, healthy recipes, meal plans, and cooking classes, I’ve helped thousands of people learn to cook and eat delicious vegan food they love so they can bring more JOY and PEACE into their kitchens.

Jenny Brewer believes you deserve to feel peace in your body and in your relationship with food. She’s a graduate of the Natural Gourmet Institute for Health & Culinary Arts in New York City, has a Masters degree in Nutrition and is a Certified Nutrition Specialist.

Jenny has been supporting people to eat healthier for over 15 years. Her articles and recipes have appeared on numerous websites and publications snd she is the former co-host of a radio show about nutrition and health.

Most recently, she completed a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Teachers Training – adding to her toolbox for supporting her clients to relax around food and eat more intuitively.

Jenny lives with her husband Eric and rescue dog Sadie and enjoys playing beach volleyball, practicing yoga and singing in the Agape International and Global Choir.
