Healthy Snacking with High-Protein Refrigerator Staples

You know the drill….

It’s 5:00 and you just got home from work.

You haven’t eaten in hours and you are VERY hungry.

Dinner is still at least an hour away….

What is your hungry self supposed to do?

If you answered, “Yell at my spouse, eat an entire sleeve of cookies and then call for takeout”, may I suggest another approach?

How about,

“Have nutrient-rich raw veggies to eat with a delicious, high-protein refrigerator staple like sunflower seed spread while I make dinner!”

Whew, that feels SO much better!

It sounds so simple, but when you have healthy food around, it’s much easier to make healthy food choices. That’s why I recommend always having a high protein staple in your refrigerator, like Sunflower Seed Paté.
